On October 22-23, 2019, the Dean of the Public Management and Administering Faculty Ihor Kuspliak, participated in the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Civil Service: Current State and Prospects for Development” held in Minsk (Belarus). The conference was organized by the Academy of Public Administration under the aegis of the President of the Republic of Belarus (hereinafter ? the Academy) together with the Astana Hub in the field of public service and the Council of Europe.
Representatives of international organizations, government bodies and scientific communities of the Republic of Belarus, experts and scientists from Europe and Asia participated in the conference for two days. There were 46 foreign experts from 20 countries. The main purpose of the conference was to discuss approaches to the development of the civil service institute in modern conditions basing on good foreign experience. The representative of our Institute made a presentation on the topic: “Digital Transformation in Ukraine: the State in Smartphone Brand”.
Also, Ihor Kuspliak held meetings with the Academy management on further cooperation, got acquainted with the experience of civil servants’ training and retraining at the Academy, use of the situational modeling laboratory in the study process etc.
