On October 11, 2019, the representatives of partner institutions Bogdan Stefanachi and Simona Vranceanu (Faculty of Philosophy and Social-Political Sciences, Alexandru Ioan Cuza University, Iasi, Romania), Tatiana Tofan and Tatiana Saptefrati (The Academy of Public Administration in the Republic of Moldova, Chisinau) visited the Institute. The purpose of the visit was to participate in the All-Ukrainian Scientific-Practical Conference Public Administration: Traditions, Innovations, Global Trends, which was held on the basis of the ORIPA NAPA under the President of Ukraine, traditionally uniting leading scientists and practitioners from public authorities.
Foreign guests addressed the plenary session with greetings. They emphasized the need for academic contacts between scientists from different countries and stressed on the importance and effectiveness of cooperation with the ORIPA NAPA under President of Ukraine. The scientists also took part in the work of the section Public Governance in the Conditions of Globalization and the Formation of Digital Society and presented reports on relevant topics. Director of the Institute Mykola Izha personally thanked foreign researchers for their participation in the conference and expressed hope for further development of bilateral cooperation.
During a working meeting of Romanian and Moldovan representatives with First Deputy Director Mykola Popov and Head of the International Cooperation Department Nataliia Nefodova the ways for bilateral cooperation development were discussed and concrete steps for its implementation in the 2019-2020 academic year were identified.
In addition to the rich work program, during the stay in Odessa, the guests of the institute had the opportunity to get acquainted with the city and attended the performance at the Odessa National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater.
