On July 24, 2019, the solemn signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the All-Ukrainian Center of Bulgarian Culture in Odessa and the Odessa Regional Institute of Public Administration of the National Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine took place. The event was attended by Mykola Izha - Director of the Institute, Todor Vitev - Consul of the Republic of Bulgaria in Odessa, Dmytro Terzi - Director of the All-Ukrainian Center for Bulgarian Culture in Odessa, Daria Stoyanova - Ph.D. professor of the Department of Bulgarian Philology of the Odessa National University named after I. I. Mechnikov, Tetiana Folhina - Head of the Communications Department and Nataliia Nefodova - Head of the International Cooperation Department of the Institute. The purpose of signing the Memorandum of Cooperation is to strengthen Ukrainian-Bulgarian cooperation through educational activities, joint organization of information, education and cultural events. Mykola Izha emphasized the fact that in Odesa there is a large Bulgarian community, which is active in cultural and educational activities. The director emphasized that the signing of the memorandum will promote intellectual, educational and cultural development, and cooperation will be on a new, more modern and constructive level. Todor Vitev expressed the hope that due to the established coordination between the signatories of the memorandum in the near future there will be round tables, joint cultural events, meetings of students with the representatives of the Republic of Bulgaria for the exchange of best practices. Media representatives of the Odessa region attended the event.
