On June 18, 2019, at the invitation of the Hennadii Udovenko Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine (DAU), the Institute representatives: associate professors of the Global Studies, European Integration and Security Management Department Nataliia Kaduk and Olena Kryvtsova, as well as a Leading Specialist of the International Cooperation Department Daria Suslina visited a round table on the topic Regional Projections of Global Transformations. More than 30 representatives of political science and academic sphere, the diplomatic corps attended the event. In addition, the round table was organized within the framework of cooperation with the Estonian diplomatic school. The event was held at the Odesa I. I. Mechnikov National University. The working language was English. The discussion was moderated by the Director of the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine Sergiy Korsunsky, Director of the Estonian School of Diplomacy Ekke Nomm and Deputy Director of DAU Yevgeniya Gaber. During the three sessions on global, European and regional dimensions of current transformations Ukrainian and Estonian speakers discussed various aspects of recent developments in the world politics and their implications for the transatlantic security. Experts from the leading think-tanks of Estonia and Ukraine, academia and the representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited to Odessa took part in the debate. At the end of the lecture, a lively discussion began between the participants of the event.
