From June 15 to June 19, 2019 the delegation of the Beijing Administration Institute (hereinafter - BAI) paid a working visit to the ORIPA NAPA under the President of Ukraine. The delegation consisted of six people, headed by the Vice President of the institution, Mr. Wu Bing. On June 16, the delegation members were invited to a meeting with the Director of the institute Professor Mykola Izha. He sincerely greeted the Chinese guests, acquainted them with the visit program and expressed his hope for its successful realization. The head of the institute provided information on the system of civil servants training in Ukraine, the main directions of activity of the National Academy of Public Administration and its regional institutes. Mykola Izha emphasized the importance of developing international cooperation and noted the dynamic development of the relations with Chinese partners. From June 17 to June 18, the BAI representatives, the First Deputy Director Mykola Popov and Acting Head of the International Cooperation Department Nataliia Nefodova visited the cities of Vylkove and Izmail. During the visit, Chinese scholars met with the head of the Vilkovo City Consolidated Community Mykola Dzyadzin, who spoke about the results of the decentralization reforms that had a positive impact on the development of the city. In addition, Mykola Dzyadzin highlighted the active work of the community with international funds that promote the development of the Danube region. During a working meeting of the delegation with the Izmail Mayor, Andrii Abramchenko he provided information on the work of the Izmail City Council, the implementation of infrastructure projects and the development of the city. Also, members of the Chinese delegation were given an opportunity to get acquainted with the historical heritage of the South of the Odessa region and the picturesque corners of the Danube. On June 19, the Chinese delegation met with the Odessa region prosecutor Oleg Zhuchenko. During the visit, the head of the prosecutor's office greeted the guests, acquainted Chinese scientists with the specifics of the law enforcement agencies and innovations in the work of the prosecutor's office of the Odessa region. In his turn, Associate Professor of the BAI Law Department Fu Qiang, delivered a report on improving the management in PRC on the principles of the rule of law. Also on June 19, a round table Experience of civil servants training in Ukraine and China was held at the Institute, with the participation of representatives of the BAI, the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Odesa and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine in Odessa, as well as Ukrainian and Chinese scholars. Upon completion of the working visit, Mykola Izha sincerely thanked all the participants of the Chinese delegation for their successful and productive work and expressed his hope for the further realization of bilateral cooperation within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding between the partner institutions.
