On December 04, 2018 at the invitation of the Consulate General of the Romania in Odessa the representatives of the Institute attended an official reception on the occasion of the National Day of Romania and 100th anniversary of the Great Unification.
The ceremony, which took place at the House of receptions of the Odessa Regional Council was attended by the Director of the Institute Professor Mykola Izha, Head of the Sector for the Organization of Seminars Ordered by the State in the In-service Training Division Natalia Privalova, Associate Professor of the Public Administration and Regional Studies Chair Stepan Davtian, Associate Professor of Ukrainian and Foreign Languages Chair Andrii Maiev, Leading Specialist of the Communications Department Nataliia Nefodova. Among the guests there were representatives of public authorities, diplomatic missions, higher education institutions, clergy, media and Romanian Diaspora in Odessa.
Speeches on the occasion of the Romanian state anniversary were held by the Consul General of Romania in Odessa Emil Rapcea, as well as the representatives of public authorities of the south of Ukraine. During the speech, Emil Rapcea, who is a doyen of the diplomatic corps in Odessa, especially emphasized the importance of the holiday for the Romanian people and noted the achievements of the country in recent years. In turn, representatives of public authorities stressed that Ukraine aims at strengthening the friendship and good neighbourly relations with Romania, including in the context of the promotion of the European and Euro-Atlantic integration.
Mykola Izha personally congratulated the Consul General on the state holiday and expressed his for further cooperation.
