On April 24, 2018, Odessa Literature Museum hosted the cultural and educational event Romanian Culture Evening, organized by Odessa Regional Peace Council and the Consulate General of Romania in Odessa. The evening was attended by the famous politicians and public figures, public servicemen, foreign diplomatic missions heads, artists and journalists. Odessa Regional Institute for Public Administration of the National Academy for Public Administration under the President of Ukraine was represented by the Global Studies, European Integration and National Safety Management Department Associate Professor Ivan Usatyuk, Communications Department Head Specialist Andrii Maiev, as well as the Public Management and Administering Faculty students Khrystyna Halayko, Maryana Kucheruk, Mariana Frontovska and Maksym Muryzhnikov.
   Odessa Regional Peace Council Head Tamila Afanasyeva, Odessa City Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov and the Consul General of Romania Emil Rapcea addressed the audience with greeting speeches.
   The concert program included classical works performed by the Peoples Artist of Ukraine Anatoliy Duda, performances by Odessa Philharmonic soloists Olena Rikhter and Andrii Prakht, as well as Odessa A. V. Nezhdanova National Musical Academy lecturer Gennadiy Kozhukhar. The poems by Romanian poets were performed by the hostess of the evening, Odessa Regional Peace Council Presidium Member, literary awards laureate Svitlana Lukina.
   The Romanian Consuls performing the songs by the Romanian, Ukrainian and Italian authors became the headliner of the event. The performance by the head of the diplomatic mission was received with the whole audiences ovation. It was Ukraines first event featuring the diplomatic mission heads performing a solo program.
   The Institute's representatives thanked the organizers for the invitation to an interesting event having helped them to get to know the Romanian culture better.
