On December 8, 2017, the 'International Development and Decentralization' Conference was held in Romania's largest higher educational establishment â€“ Alexandru Ioan Cuza University (Iasi, Romania) by the Philosophy and Socio-Political Sciences Faculty. The conference was attended by ORIPA NAPA under the President of Ukraine Public Management and Administering Faculty's 1st year students Olena Pryshchak and Marianna Frontovska.
The conference united over 60 professors, postgraduate students, students and experts from the HEIs of Romania, Moldova, Italy, Ukraine, Turkey and Azerbaijan.
The scientific forum's program included speeches on illegal migration, energy safety, separatism, tackling terrorism, building civil society, as well as other essential issues. The Institute's representatives took part in the panel discussions' work and presented their speeches: 'Borders, crises and secessionism tendencies in European Union' (M. Frontovska) and 'Refugees, migration and associated phenomena in the EU' (O. Pryshchak).
Creating the international research network and developing the academic contacts became one of the aims of the conference, thus, our students invited the other participants to visit ORIPA NAPA under the President of Ukraine, and expressed their hoping on the further mutually fruitful cooperation. The participation in the conference was certified with the according papers.
