On 20 April 2017, teachers of educational institutions from the Indre Department (Centre Val-de-Loire Region, France) visited the ORIPA NAPA under the President of Ukraine. The French delegation is currently in Ukraine on a study visit in scope of a co-operational project between higher and secondary educational institutions between the Odessa region and the Indre Department, which has already been in progress for 6 years.
The following representatives of the institute took part in the meeting with the delegation: Dean of the Management Faculty Dr. Y. Ievtsiunina, Head of the International Relations Department Dr. A. Maiev, Head of the Sector of Organisational and Educational Matters Mrs. T. Folgina, and the associate professor of the Management of Organisation Department Dr. T. Butenko. At the beginning of the meeting Dr. A. Maiev welcomed the guests on behalf of the institute administration board and talked about the main directions of the ORIPA NAPA activities, the faculty and the specialisations, as well as the international cooperation. Particularly, the importance of cooperation with the French partners was emphasized that has been lasting since the foundation of the institute. Dr. Y. Ievtsiunina provided information on the training in the Management Faculty and the active participation of students in various international programs and cultural events.
For her part, the head of the French delegation, teacher of the Jean Giraudoux Lyceum, Mrs. Silvie Tampleur thanked the hosts for the opportunity to visit the institute and expressed an offer for cooperation in the framework of educational projects in 2018. In particular, the possibility of joint participation in exchange study visits, the involvement of French specialists in conducting communication activities on the basis of the institute was discussed.
After the meeting the French colleagues became familiar with the ORIPA NAPA, visited the museum exposition, the classrooms, the centre of distance learning as well as the assembly hall.
