On February 27, 2017, Institute’s International Relations Sector Head Mr. Andri Maiev took part in the “Business Plans Contest 2017” project presentation, which has taken place in Odessa’s Bavarian House. The presentation was held by the Ukrainian-Bavarian Management Training Center Executive Secretary Mrs. Svitlana Bogdanova.
The Business Plans Contest is held annually by the Bavarian House with the support of the foundations and investors from Germany. It is aimed at supporting the small and medium businesses via creating new enterprises, upgrading the existing manufactures, and introducing the Ukrainian products to the European market. Participation in the project stipulates for presenting one’s business idea, its being conducted by the German specialists, and receiving assistance in establishing contacts with the foreign partners. Besides, in the network of the project, training in Germany at the invitation of the German Economy Ministry is provided.
During the presentation, Mrs. Bogdanova circumstanced the contest’s conditions and history, starting from the year 2006, particularly emphasizing the active participation of ORIPA NAPA’s representatives in the project, since they have won both the Gran Prix and the prizes before. Mr. Maiev thanked the management for inviting him, and pointed out that the business plans contest is an amazing chance to develop business ideas, especially for the young businessmen and students.
