From the 16th of April till the 4th of May, 2012 Mr. Andrii Maiev the Head of International Relations Department of the Odessa Regional Institute of Public Administration of National Academy of Public Administration, Office of the President of Ukraine (ORIPA) took part in the internship in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany in Berlin.

In the period from the 15th to the 20th of April, 2012 Anastasiia Bobukh and German Karpenko, the ORIPA's students of the specialty "Project Management", took part in the internship course on the bases of the Highest Bank School in Gdansk (Poland).

From the 11th till the 16th of April, 2012 prof. Andreas Knorr and Dr. Rahel Shomaker representatives of German University of Administrative Sciences Speyer (DHV Speyer) and Dr. Nils Otter from the Carinthia University of Applied Sciences (UAS, Austria) visited the Odessa Regional Institute of Public Administration of National Academy of Public Administration, Office of the President of Ukraine (ORIPA).

From the 31st of March to the 7th of April, 2012 the group of representatives from the Odessa Regional Institute of Public Administration of the National Academy of Public Administration, Office of the President of Ukraine (ORIPA), took part in the International Educational Program of In-service Training for Civil Servants in the Field of European Integration and Public Administration.

In the framework of collaboration of the National Academy of Public Administration, Office of the President of Ukraine and its regional institutes with the Higher School of Public Administration, Police and Law of Gustrow (Germany), the MPA program graduate of the Odessa Regional Institute of Public Administration of the National Academy of Public Administration, Office of the President of Ukraine (ORIPA) Mrs. Kornienko Tatyana passed the second phase of her internship at German educational establishment from the 3rd till the 25th of March 2012.

On thе 26th of March, 2012 within cooperation of the Odessa Regional Institute of Public Administration of the National Academy of Public Administration, Office oft the President of Ukraine (ORIPA) and European Union Border Assistance Mission to Moldova and Ukraine (EUBAM) the lecture "The best practices of the European Union in anticorruption" was held at the institute. The lecture was presented by the expert of EUBAM Mrs.

On the 17th of February, 2012 Joanna Strzelczyk, Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Odessa visited the Odessa Regional Institute of Public Administration of the National Academy of Public Administration, Office of the President of Ukraine (ORIPA).

The 14th of February, 2012 there was held a videoconference on the theme "Extra educational, cultural and leisure-time activity of the institution" between the Orel branch of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (Orel, Russia) and the Odessa Regional Institute of Public Administration of the National Academy of Public Administration, Office of the President of Ukraine (ORIPA).

On the 10th of February, 2012 Mrs. Anett Geithner, the Representative of German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) visited the Odessa Regional Institute of Public Administration of the National Academy of Public Administration, Office of the President of Ukraine (ORIPA). Within the visit Mrs. Geithner met Dr. Mykola Izha, director of the ORIPA.

On the 26th of January, 2012 Mr. Andriy Maiev, the Head of International Relations Department of the Odessa Regional Institute of Public Administration of the NAPA, Office of the President of Ukraine, on the invitation of the Alliance Francaise in Odessa, took part in the inauguration of the exhibition of well-known French photographer Mr. Gerard Yuferas "Paris in love".

On the 17th of January, 2012 Mr. Sylvain Bano, the director of the Alliance Francaise in Odessa, and Ms. Polina Bilous, the director of the French language courses visited the Odessa Regional Institute of Public Administration of the National Academy of Public Administration, Office of the President of Ukraine (ORIPA).

    From the 11th to the 18th of December, 2011 the students of the Odessa Regional Institute of Public Administration of the National Academy of Public Administration, Office of the President of Ukraine (ORIPA) took part in winter school "Youth against corruption", which was organized by European Union Border Assistance Mission to Moldova and Ukraine (EUBAM) in the Kishinev (Moldova). The participants from the ORIPA were: Usarova Julia, Shablja Tetyana (speciality "Public administration") and Lepyokhina Kateryna (speciality "Project management").

    From the 14th to the 16th of December 2011, the First Deputy Director of the ORIPA Prof. Dr. Anatoly Akhlamov and the Head of Library Department Victoria Makarova visited the North-West Institute of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (NWI, St.-Petersburg, Russian Federation). The purpose of the visit was the participation in celebrating of the twentieth anniversary from the date of the foundation of the Russian educational institution.

    On the 14th of December, 2011 in the ORIPA NAPA Office of the President of Ukraine was held the presentation on the theme "Ttraditions of Tourism in Germany", which was conducted by German intern Vera Ilic. The audience of the presentation, organized by International Relations Department, consisted of the students of Public Administration Faculty, who know English.

    On the 1st of December, 2011 the theoretic-practical seminar "Public Policy of Regional Development" was held at the Odessa Regional Institute of Public Administration of the National Academy of Public Administration, Office of the President of Ukraine (ORIPA) on the basis of Regional Policy and Public Administration Department.

    On the 29th of November, 2011 the director of the ORIPA Dr. Mykola Izha took part in solemn opening of Consulate General of the Peoples Republic of China in Odessa.

    The 2nd of November, 2011 7 representatives of the Odessa Regional Institute of Public Administration of the National Academy of Public Administration, Office of the President of Ukraine (ORIPA) took part in the study-trip to Border Crossing Point "Kuchurgan" on the Moldavian and Ukrainian border. This event was realized within Study Course "Borders of Europe" for students of partner institutions of the European Union Border Assistance Mission to Moldova and Ukraine (EUBAM).

    From the 17th to the 22nd of October 2011 the associate professor of the Chair of Public Administration and Local Self-government of the Odessa Regional Institute of Public Administration of the National Academy of Public Administration, Office of the President of Ukraine (ORIPA) Dr. Andriy Krupnik participated in the training for demographic prognostics for instructors of a training course in economically well-founded planning of the territories development. The training took place in Ottawa (Canada) in the framework of the project "Development of the Opportunities to the Economically Substantiated Planning of the Development of Ukraine Urban Areas" (project REOP), which is realized in Ukraine by the Conference Council of Canada (CCC) with support of the Canadian International Development Agency.

    In the framework of collaboration of the National Academy of Public Administration, Office of the President of Ukraine (NAPA) and its regional institutes with the Higher School of Public Administration, Police and Law of G?strow (Germany), the MPA program student of the Odessa Regional Institute of Public Administration of the National Academy of Public Administration, Office of the President of Ukraine (ORIPA) Ms. Tatyana Kornienko has taken part together with the students of Lviv Regional Institute of Public Administration of the NAPA, in the international program on the basis of the German educational institution. The program took place from the 8th till the 30th of October 2011.

    From the 27th till the 30th of October, 2011 the delegation of North-West Institute of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (NWI) visited the Odessa Regional Institute of Public Administration of the National Academy of Public Administration, Office of the President of Ukraine (ORIPA). The members of the delegation were Deputy Director of scientific work prof. Andrey Vasetsky and Adviser of director Anatoly Utkin.

    From the 27th to the 28th of October, 2011 the delegation of the Malopolska Regional Development Agency (MARR, Krakow, Poland) visited the Odessa Regional Institute of Public Administration of the National Academy of Public Administration, Office of the President of Ukraine (ORIPA). The delegation members were Deputy Directors of the Entrepreneurship Support Department, Mrs. Malgorzata Malek and Mrs. Anna Koserovska, and specialist in entrepreneurship support Mr. Konstantin Dudnik.

    The 19th of October, 2011 the lecture "EU Institutions and Bodies" was held at the Odessa Regional Institute of Public Administration of the National Academy of Public Administration, Office of the President of Ukraine (ORIPA). This event was realized within Study Course "Borders of Europe" for students of partner institutions of the European Union Border Assistance Mission to Moldova and Ukraine (EUBAM).

    On the 14th of October, 2011 Dr. Hans-Jürgen Heimsoeth, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Germany to Ukraine, Mr. Olexandre Kifak the honorary consul of Germany in Odessa and Dr. Anett Geithner, the official representative of German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) visited the Odessa Regional Institute of Public Administration of the National Academy of Public Administration, Office of the President of Ukraine (ORIPA).

    From the 19th to the 25th of September, 2011 7 representatives of the Odessa Regional Institute of Public Administration of the National Academy of Public Administration, Office of the President of Ukraine (ORIPA) took part in the Belarus-German-Ukrainian international seminar "Policy and Administration in the Modern State" which was held in Minsk at the Academy of Public Administration under the Aegis of the President of the Republic of Belarus (APAPRB). The members of the delegation were: M. Mykolaichuk, Professor of the Economics and Financial Policy Department, A. Maiev, Head of International Relations Department, and also students of the specialty "Public Administration".

    Within the cooperation between the Odessa Regional Institute of Public Administration of the National Academy of Public Administration, Office of the President of Ukraine (ORIPA) and the Hochshule Wismar - University of Technology, Business and Design (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany) 2nd year students of the faculty of management Yaroslava Ivanko, Kateryna Zlatina, Dariia Shynko and Viktoriia Nepomniushcha studied at the German educational establishment during one semester.

    On the 5-6th of September, 2011 a two-day training course "Improving the quality of the relationship between administration and the public" was held at Odessa Regional Institute of Public Administration of the National Academy of Public Administration, Office of the President of Ukraine (ORIPA).

   In the framework of co-operation of Odessa Regional Institute of Public Administration of the National Academy of Public Administration, Office of the President of Ukraine (ORIPA) and German University of Administrative Sciences Speyer (DHV Speyer, Germany), PhD students Milena Pashkova and Svitlana Savenkova conducted individual scientific research on the basis of German educational establishment from the 2nd of July to the 31st of August, 2011.

   From the 31st of July to the 8th of August, 2011 the MPA student of the Odessa Regional Institute of Public Administration of the National Academy of Public Administration, Office of the President of Ukraine (ORIPA) Pavel Kulyk participated in the Summer School "Youth Against Corruption" which was organized by the European Union Border Assistance Mission to Moldova and Ukraine (EUBAM) in Vadul lui Voda (Republic of Moldova).

   In the context of cooperation between the Odessa Regional Institute of Public Administration of the National Academy of Public Administration, Office of the President of Ukraine (ORIPA) and the European Union Border Assistance Mission to Moldova and Ukraine (EUBAM) the representatives of the institute took part in communicative actions which were organized by the Mission in summer, 2011.

   The 10th of June, 2011 Mr. Paul Darby, Director of Project "Development of the Opportunities to the Economically Substantiated Planning of the Development of Ukraine Urban Areas" (REOP) and Mr. Lubomir Chornii, the REOP Project Director in Ukraine, visited the Odessa Regional Institute of Public Administration of the National Academy of Public Administration, Office of the President of Ukraine (ORIPA).

   From the 1st till the 2nd of June, 2011 an expert of Twinning project Mr. Vitold Mikulovsky visited the Odessa Regional Institute of Public Administration of the National Academy of Public Administration, Office of the President of Ukraine (ORIPA). The main goal of the visit was the discussion of the guidelines of European experts to the project of the Report of Functional and the SWOT-analysis in order of the development of strategy for the increasing of the efficiency of National Academy of Public Administration and its regional institutes.
